Finally got my hands on one of the new Blaser F3 shotguns and it flung a major cravin' on me. This particular gun was a sporting clays model with 30" barrels and extended Briley screw chokes. I was impressed with the design, fit & finish, overall look, and, especially, the feel. I was in a store so I did not have a chance to put any shells through it but I have shot enough to know what works and this is a gun I could do very well with no matter the game or target. The triggers are mechanical and have a very K-80 feel to them, which is as good as it gets.
The store owner said the guns are selling very quickly; I looked at the last one he had left. He said more would be imported after the 1st of January. He also said that no field guns have made it to the States yet. This is what I am waiting for--a field model with 29" barrels and flush Briley chokes. Retail on the gun I looked at was $4,900.
If anyone has any trigger time with one of these, please post your impressions.
