FWIW---One of my fishing sponsors was a sporting goods store. Many people came in saying that their barrel was shot out. Many of the guns hadn't been cleaned. And some had been cleaned the wrong way and had damaged the crowns and/or the chambers. Thus they thought that the barrel had been shot out. Here's something I have always wondered.? In military rifles how do the full autos stay together during a fire fight? And how long do the barrels hold up?
