Can anyone provide a comparision (description and/or photos) between the Marksman and the HS Precision stock that Remington uses on the factory Sendero?
I'm quite fond of them.
Here's a couple.......
The H-S stock is narrower thru the forend, skinnier thru the wrist, and smaller in width and breadth in the butt.
A closer match would be a PSS in the forend (longer & wider), but the butt profile of the PSS is the same as the H-S Varmint.
The Marksman forends are a twin to an A-5, as the A-5 stole the specs. They'll take as big a barrel as you wanna haul around. A little thicker thru the wrist, and a beefier butt, but not unwieldy by any means. More rounded corners in the action area than an A-5. Really noticeable in the prairie dog fields, as that's where I hang on with the off hand.
A great all around stock that doesn't get enough love......
