I have the cape of a caribou I killed in 2007. When it was tanned the hair slipped. I'm going to toss it but thought someone might have use for some of the hair. Some of it is white/off white 3 or 4 inches long. Most is grey 2 to 3 inches I guess. If interested let me know.

Caribou in Texas too? We have plenty in Alaska. The hide would make nice mukluks even without the hair... I hope you find a taker!

Caribou is THE hair used for Irresistable bodies. It spins quite well.

Caribou is THE hair used for Irresistable bodies. It spins quite well. Works great for Bombers and Buck Bugs. It makes a very cool light bodied Goddard Caddis as well. Very useful stuff.
