The article I read said he went into a store to buy some smokes. Got into it with the clerk about "How you gonna pay since you are nekkid?" Left there and proceeded to wreck the car. At least he didn't drive to the store "on his ol' John Deere"?

Lib Hatcher took a two-bit ex-con with a good voice and made a country star out of him. Now that she has divorced him (in a pretty low profile manner), he has reverted to type.
Lib was the gal who made a country star out of an obscure auto mechanic from southeast Texas (Gene Watson). He never had another hit record after they parted ways. Gene tried to get her to manage him again after several lean years, but the Randy Travis train had already left the station.
Lib is a business woman who knows the business and I suspect that she doesn't cut anyone much slack.
