Anyone had hands-on experience with the Leverevolution rounds in 35 Rem? Local gun shops are only getting 30-30s, but I'm dying to try the 35 Rems. . .
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

These r too new for me to try out just yet. .35 Rem. is just one of the great rounds of all time. Friends up by the Bob Marshall use em for bulls, n the ol .35 knocks em over. Recoil pretty simlr to 30 WCF. Thin the .35 is 100 yrs old now, just like my favourite bolt gun round, the 30-06. When there some meat to chew on re leverlution, it'll be posted here.

I never tried them and don't need to. I worked up a load using Speer 220gr Flat points over twenty years ago and they haven't failed me yet.

My old load is 38gr of IMR4895 with the Speer 220grainer. I do not have a chrono but am guessing 1900fps. It shoots accurately out to 100 yds. which I do not shoot beyond and has never taken more than one if I hit a deer.

I was able to get ahold of a few boxes and run them thru the chronograph. they ran about 2140fps out of my 20" barrel 336C. Remington factory ammo runs about 2030fps out of my gun so it is a nice improvement if it is kept at similar pressures. Just think what they could do if they loaded it up to the 336's pontential.

I've picked up a two boxes from www.grafs.com of .35 rem for about $42 shipped. I havent wanted to try them out yet because the bugs and the humidity are horrible. I cant steady the gun because I have to keep smashing the mosquitoes and deer flies or they will carry me off!!

I finally got round to sighting in the new leverevolution bullets. They shoot much better in my 336 than Remington's core-loks. The leverevolution bullets shot a bit higher than the old remmys. These ones group very well, I had 2 touching and 2 more about an inch or so away at 90 yards. This season I will feel alot more confident making my shots. I will not go back to remmy ammo for my .35 ever again.
