There just seems to be groundhogs all over the place this summer. We had a mild winter and warm, dry spring. I think maybe that mild weather allowed lots to survive the winter and have good litters in the dry, warm spring. I just like taking others out and letting them shoot them. I've got a little Big Brother/Big Sister guy, and we went out last week and he shot five. He had a great time. My daughter and friend came home from Collumbus/Ohio State and we went out too. They had a blast shooting hogs, and I had a blast watching them shoot them. I've shot 151 so far this year. Shot one this morning at 258 yards with the Cooper, .204. I love shootin those hogs.. Love it. Man, you have a lot of groundhogs on your place!

I miss shooting woodchucks. I had several dairy farms I used to hunt in Northern NY back in the day. We have them here but it seems like they are all in town.

NICE, wishin it was me! I went out last Monday so hot but scored one at 204yds. alittle close but what the hay. Me and my bud were scoutin around for some yote callin also talkin to local farmers. Some don't want you to take yote's some like them keepin down the crop eaters like deer,G-hogs etc. While turkey huntin this year one farmer said ya hunt turkeys but don't shoot any fox, or yotes. By the way 95gr.V-Max from Creedmoor dose put a hurtin on G-Hogs!!!! The Swift is just sittin in the safe this summer....later
