BTW, Your wife has the most friendly and beautiful smile ever. It is obvious that she is a woman who loves being outdoors and enjoys life period. Cheers! Yessir, I do believe I have been touched by the 'affliction'. Good for me, perhaps, that I can only hope to chase them away from home. We do have snowshoes and cottontails, but there is certainly something mysterious about the jacks compulsion. Fascinating that yours in the last shot have evolved to include an apparent evolutionary twist to the little-known evasion tactic we're discussing: the 'I'm sleeping upside-down' slump defense. Clever little devils they are. Thanks kindly for the comment on my lady, friend. She's my everything, and then some. Been going back over everyone's pics. So many amazing shots. Thank you all for sharing! Say Ed, I'm trying to figure the pic out. Is that a freak tusked/toofed hippo? Or did he just eat a nice warthog?

I suspect it's because everything stands out and leaves tracks/clues on those heavy frost mornings, but, a pard and I call those "kill days". I think critters trying to get somewhere dryer is a part of the magic of those days as well. Whatever it is, I'm always encouraged to wake up to a morning like the above during any hunting season.
I can walk on water.......................but I do stagger a bit on alcohol.

My annoy a liberal T-shirt collection. The one on the right reads U.N. American - cut it off a bit.

Know fat, know flavor. No fat, no flavor.
I tried going vegan, but then realized it was a big missed steak.

Bowhuntr:
What kind of cooker is that? Looks like it could be used to grill inside.
Thanks
