This is a photo of one of my 348 win rifles. It is a little different from most 348's in that it is a Frantz Sodia made in Austria. It is proof to me that Winchester wasn't the only factory to make 348's. I have carried this rifle many times and never seen a deer while I had it. I hope to change my luck this year.

Here is a rifle my son built for himself after he built my 338 Federal. While my little 338 Fed is happy in the woods, this one just screams for more open spaces than you see in the background of the picture. Having spent 30+ years in the phone business, if I want to reach out and touch something, the rifle sitting on the post will do it. It is a 338 Lapua.

Custom Remington Model 7 in 338 Fed. It has a 20 inch Hart Barrel and HS Precision stock. Really like this one! If I didn't have a .338-06, I'd probably do the same thing!

O.K. I think I might have the photo bucket thing under control. Here are some pseudo fence post pictures: Left Hand Rem 581 .22LR. Fun to shoot. Shoots "minute of squirrel" all day long with Eley Subsonics. Gemtech Outback II takes care of the noise control. LH Faux Model 7. Rem 700 LH SA, factory Model 7 take off barrel in .243. McM Model 7 stock. Rattle can camo. Before I started going to Colorado, this was my "kill everything I need to kill rifle" for KY. Savage 110 with 24" Douglas barrel chambered for .30-06. Just got this put together. McWoody stock thanks to NSAQAM. Still need to work up a load for this. LH Sako .375H&H, DOuglas barrel, HS Precision stock, Leupold 4x12x40 VXR on top. My first truly "custom rifle". Holds MOA out to 500 yards with 235gr TSX's. And just to show that I am not a total South Paw Snob, a 1954 Standard Model 70 in .30-06 with Lyman 48 receiver sight. Still need to take this one out and play. The .22, .243, and .375 are all on the "keep" list. Still need some time with the two .30-06's to see which one sticks. Just started carrying a camera in the field. I promise in the future to take more "fence post" pictures out in the field....

Early Kimber Classic in 7mm08. Karnis worked his magic on the stock and it actually looks better than the photo shows. No accuracy problems with this one. Antonio Zoli in 300 win. mag. This also is a very early one.

Played musical stocks on the ruger UL's. Here's the new walnut on the 204 that I got from K22. On a post, and in the killing field on shooting shticks. The 7/08 in a new walnut UL stock

Ruger M77 tang safety in .270 wcf. Canjar trigger, 22 LPI checkering, Leupold Vari X III 1.75-6. The stock came from a rifle once owned by Jack O'Connor. It was a 7x57 and given to him by Bill Ruger when he was at the factory. O'Connor was going to have the stock reshaped by Biesen. Somehow it was broken before that happened. O'Connor replaced it with another stock and Jay Frazier wound up with the broken one. Jay repaired it and sold it. I got it from a fellow in Colorado about 22 years ago. I have had several nice customs over the years but this rifle is my favorite.

Dunno what Karnis did, but that Kimber looks good! I don't know exactly either, but he did mention using some kind of stick with a star on the end of it. Magic something or another. Played musical stocks on the ruger UL's. Here's the new walnut on the 204 that I got from K22. On a post, and in the killing field on shooting shticks. Hey, I didn't know you were allowed to do that huntsman22. Does that ol' thing still shoot?
