I'm looking to buy my daughter her first .22 rifle since she passed her Hunter's Safety course. She's 10 years old and has trouble firing my standard 22 rifle since the length of pull is too long. I'd like to buy her a bolt action, clip magazine fed rifle with iron sights so she can learn to use the irons. I'd like it to be capable of being scoped in the future should she want that. Most importantly, though, is I would like to be able to buy her a rifle with a "kids" stock that would fit her now but would also like to buy an "adult" sized stock that she could use later in life without having to buy a new rifle. It seems like I've seen previous threads here about people who have done this, but I can't seem to locate those threads now. Can anyone recommend a rifle/manufacturer that produces what I want? Thanks for your help.

Yep!
CZ Scout! (bolt action)
They have a youth size stock, and one can add a 1" pad to make 'em more "adult" size.
I bought one for ME, and added a 1" pad to fit me better.
Best little "porch' gun I own. Short and VERY handy for sniping pesky little "varmits"
They come with a single-shot adapter, which can be changed out to a 5 or 10 round magazine.
I put a Leupold 4X rimfire scope on mine.

Get her a pink/youth 10/22 from Lipseys.
Buy one of the bajillion aftermarket stocks down the road.
