Finally ready to buy a Food Saver. This forum has been great in terms of finding some unbelievable deals for that machine, so thought I'd ask the question before going to Costco and paying through the nose.

How many pounds a year are you planning to vacuum pack and how many pounds per session? If you'll have times when you are going to be vac packing a couple hundred pounds at a shot, you might want to consider a chamber packer.
