Im interested in trying something in an effort to keep my door slide rails from rusting on my cage traps. Im thinking of using a dip, maybe something like FullMetal Jacket or something. any ideas, thoughts? anyone tried this before?

I use Tru-Catch cage traps. They are probably different than yours. I am not familiar with FullMetal Jacket but as long as it doesn't leave any odor when it is dry it should be okay.

Im using some custom built cages, I built them myself. but they are a design by a smaller commercial builder. rather heavy ga wire, but they last a long time and take some abuse.

Never tried dipping cage traps, but knowing me, I would rub parafin on all the moving parts.
