Want to buy:

Sold off a bunch of rifles/kits a few months ago to help pay my mother's health insurance copays from an unexpected medical emergency. Now that I'm getting caught up, I'm in need of a 30-06 bolt action to replace the one that I sold.

Looking for a nice Blue/Walnut Winchester M70 Sporter in as close to new condition as possible. Or, Blue/Walnut 30-06 Winchester Super Grades/Classics, CZ 550s, or Commercial FN Mausers.

* I still have a couple older military milsurps I can offer in trade but prefer to purchase outright. (Springfield M1903, Lithgow No.1 MkIII*, Mann .308 Heavy Barreled Action). The Lithgow is currently listed on GB here:

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=298899723

If I've broken any rules posting the GB link to view the Lithgow, please PM and I'll remove. That rifle is only available for trade if no bidders.

Please email or PM details along with a few photos.

Thank you,

SD

Sorry so late in getting back to you, but I think that I have a line on a nice Model 70 Sporter.

Thank you all for the leads, heads-up, and your offers!

Check out the auction sites for Remington model 721's. Awesome guns, and if you dont mind some nicks can be had for under $400....sometimes even with a scope.

Rifle finally made it, FN made Model 70 Sporter. It was a toss up for either this, or Tim's CZ 550. This rifle won out. The fit, finish, and trigger are nice, as well as a decent stick of walnut.

Got her glassed with an older Burris FF but haven't had an opportunity to get her on paper yet.

Thanks guys for you offers!
