55 gr. BTs at 4000 fps are hell on coyotes. What about that combo DOESN'T sound like hell on coyotes?

In two of my 243's, 42.3g of H4350, with win primer, 100g Hornady BTSP shoots tiny groups...play with seating depth and work up to this load, mine likes -.005 to touching lands

with the 95g Nosler's, 43.0g of H4350 with win primer shoots very tiny groups, .005 off lands

85g barnes tripple shocks= 45.5g of R#19, win primer, seated .050 off lands

My tikka 243 shoots 95gr bergers .21" with 42.5 grs of h-4350 at 100yards and a speed of 3030fps , 1.5" at 200 yards but at 350yrd it opens up to 6"s. So I think I will be trying the 87 grn bergers .

My Stevens shoots Hornady Custom 75 gr. ammo better than any of my handloads. I'm shooting 105 A Maxs at over 3000 fps and in the sixes once I found the correct OA length of 2.717 w/ H4831. Had it up over 3100 fps but got nervous, still shot great but I got sticky bolt lift on a few cases yesterday in the 80 degree weather. Shoots 85 gr. Partitions with H 4350 well also.

For big game, I've loaded 40-41 grains of either IMR or H4350 and 95-105 grain bullets in a pile of .243's since 1974, and have always gotten at worst 1" accuracy, and usually better. Velocity runs 2900-3000 depending on bullet weight and barrel. These days the powder is H4350, since it runs through a powder measure pretty well and is more consistent in cold weather here in Montana.

My guess, based on some experience with several Remington VTR's, is that ugly triangle barrel will shoot really well!
