Ankle Biter...Stomp Dog..lol He is a rat terrier/jack russel mix. The other one is a min. Husky 8 weeks old. I like big dogs myself so an ankle biter is not something I'd ever own.

Get a chessie, the one we adopted is the best dog I've ever had. It's downright funny the way he "talks" to you when he's hungry or needs a walk, never have I had such a vocal dog.
He isn't a little feller either, though will jump in your lap if you encourage him. I wish he understood that since he weighs 120#'s, it really hurst when he steps on your bare feet!

I always prefer a dog I do not have to bend over to pet. I am six foot three. My border collies are short. My house dog fits my bill for being tall. I never had a break in.
I hope your hands heal fast.
