There has been a few "pick your favorites" lists here lately. They are kinda cool so here is another one that covers most if not all bases. Give all the details including loads used.
Best choice of what you already own not a wish list.
1. Rimfire rifle
2. Rifle 1 for small stuff up to deer
3. Rifle 2 for the bigger stuff
4. Muzzleloader
5. handgun for the 4 legged critters
6. handgun for the 2 legged kind

TC Classic semiauto.
A bolt action 257 Roberts with a stock that fits me (Ruger stocks fit me).
A 30-06 with a similar stock that shoots Light Magnum or High Energy ammunition well enough to substitute for a 300 mag.
Ruger SuperBlackhawk.
A 1911 with a decent trigger and good sights.

1) Winchester Model 63 with a Weaver 4X scope - shoots great and has some class, to boot.
2) Weatherby Accumark in 240 wby Mag - 75 gr Vmax for coyotes and rock chucks, 100 gr Nosler Partition for antelope and mule deer. Scope is a B&L Elite 4200 2.5-10X40.
3) Weatherby Accumark in 30-06. Either 165 gr Hornady Interbond or 180 gr Nosler Partition. Scope is a Zeiss conquest 3-9X40. An alternate to this would be the same rifle in 280 Rem, shooting 139 gr Ibond for smaller and 154 gr Ibond for bigger.
4) CVA Elkhorn shooting power belt bullets. I don't have one of these yet, but if and when I get a ML, this would be the one.
5)Freedom Arms model 97 in 44 special. Loads range from 240 gr swaged plinkers to 255 gr Keith.
6) For concealed carry, Ruger sp101 2-3/4" in 357 mag. For bedside, S&W Model 27 with 5" barrel.

You should add another one - favorite big bore anachronistic throwback rifle - my choice is either an 1886 in 45-70 or model 71 in 348 win.

1. Anschutz bolt action w/4x scope and 40 grain Velocitor ammo.
2. Ruger M77 .30-06 shooting 190 grain Hornady's in front of a healthy charge of IMR 4831. This kind of an oddball load, but works in this rifle and is capable of way more than deer. Also have an interesting brush gun; an Enfield Mrk V Jungle carbine. Light and handy. Great sights. Plenty of whack with my 180 grain Sierra spitzer handloads. Also good for two-legged varmints.
4. .50 Knight inline shooting 405 grain lead plastic skirted bullets (not sabots) in front of 100-120 grains of one of the Pyrodex products.
5. 6.5 inch Ruger Blackhawk. Currently (not currently, actually, as I am in Korea right now!) shoot a lot of 210 grain factory jacket loads and a lot of 220 grain cast bullet handloads. Want to try the 255-280 grain cast bullets when I get back to the world (that will be after my 2-3 years in Japan, which I start this June; been in Korea since June 2003).
6. CZ75 9mm, purchased while stationed in Germany back when Czechoslovakia was still a Commie country (while it still was a country at all!). Have some old 115 grain Winchester +P+ police loads for it but will shoot those and get my hands on some LE +P+ Ranger SXT 127 grain loads.
