Been digging spaghetti recently, and like most flavors, I go easy on the water.

Beef stroganoff, chili mac, spaghetti, lasagna. The lasagna cheese stuck to my spoon like glue, though. The rib meat chicken and mashed potatoes was edible - would have been downright good if not for the odd seasoning in the mashed potatoes.

Spaghetti for me, easy on the water though. Chili mac and beef stroganoff aren't too bad either.

Beef stroganoff. The terryaki tore me apart last year...no more of that for this guy.

I just tried them this year and I was pleasantly surprised how good they were.

Me, too. The lasagna works, as well.

What could be a sadder way to end a life than to die having never hunted with great dogs, good friends and your family?

I had pasta Primavera a couple weeks ago and it was very good. Other than the scrambled eggs I like them all . . .
Except Spaghetti: When my daughter was 6 or 7 I took her backpacking for the first time. We had MH Spaghetti for dinner and sat around the campfire for awhile then went to bed. Just after I laid down she said "I think I'm going to be sick" . . . zip, zip, zip and I stand her outside the tent. I spent the next few minutes trying to move the spaghetti throw up away from the tent with a flat rock by the light of my headlamp (I think it was just nerves because me and my older daughter [10ish at the time] had no ill effects). We still laugh about it but we have never eaten Mountain House Spaghetti again.

Beef stroganoff is good, chicken with noodles is good. I used to really like the spagetti and lasagna but if I eat those too near bed time, there's an acid reflux price to pay. Might be the "light" extra garlic I add. Uh, am I the only one (blush) who has tried adding water to the freeze dried ice cream? Hint: DON'T.

I am all about the Beef Stroganoff.
My hunting partners prefer that I don't eat the lasagna or spaghetti with meat sauce. Crop dusting is a very bad problem when that happens.

Seafood chowder is my favorite. Beef stroganoff, beef teriaki, chicken with mashed potatoes and granola with blue berries round out my list.
