Mine was great. Low stress, less loot, and I'm very happy and feeling at peace. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I got to enjoy Christmas for what it is really about today and that is love.

Went deer hunting and shooting today, watched some football and reloaded some ammo.

Tis really low stress when you don't have any family..

Christmas was great!

My youngest at 7 handmade something for everyone in the family, he was more tickled watching them get his gifts than he was with his own loot, and as Momma's baby he always scores!

The oldest devil that she is, even surprised me, she'd spied a bracelet that had room for 6 little pics in it that she wanted to snag for mom, so I hauled her to town yesterday loaned/ gave (her version)/ (my version & the truth) 25 bucks and her and my sister shrunk pics down in the computer to put in the bracelet. One baby pic of each kid and one as they look today, jerked a tear outa mom, (that's better than money in the bank for my kids). I picked up a tree ornament I thought my wife might like while taking my daughter shopping, the daughter wraps both gifts. The bracelet she put was from her, the ornament from me & HER. Ahhhh that's my girl.

Dang fine day the in/outlaws are all here now and we're getting ready to kill a couple of prime rib roasts and some scallops. Life is good. Merry Christmas all!

My day went well. Talked to my boys. Think I'm headed to Kentucky for a visit soon. My daughter came up for an hour and opened her presents with me. Ate a nice dinner with Susan and her family. Some neat gifts...Book on Polar Bears and Grizzlies. Pair of awesome binoculars. Gift pack of Starbucks coffee. A stuffed Moose...Cool stuff.

A nice day.

As per my post RE: Life is changing in this forum, I have had a terrific Christmas. My wife and I, along with our two mostly grown daughters are being hosted for the first time in the home of my 23 year old son and his lovely wife. Gift time was nice, I enjoyed surprising my wife with a Digital Piano and a laptop computer, but the best part, by far, is being together as a family. When my daughters marry this will be much more difficult to do so I am savoring the moment. This is my and my wife's first year where we are not doing all of the hosting, cooking etc. This is a really special Christmas for me!

A very fine day for the Mac's. Was a bit busy to get everything fit in but worth the smiles on the chitlin's faces.

Most excellent. Got a very nice bullnose plane, a new set of kitchen knives and a Filson briefcase (the old case went right through the "patina" stage to just plain crappy). Best of all was our friends came over and I cooked a Christmas goose with all the trimmings. Everyone else is still in bed but we're heading out this afternoon with Finn the wonderpup to harass some pheasants.

Ours was wonderful... family, friends, and lots of good food! We pulled out a bunch of old pictures I had found cleaning out an old chest, and passed them around. We laughed a lot. Barak made a great fire in the fireplace, the food was plentiful and delicious, gifts were opened and exclaimed at, and a wonderful time was had by all.

We did the Santa deal Christmas eve. All the boys/dau in laws and grand kids plus assorted inlaws. Fine time had by all. Newest grandkid not quite knowing what is going on as is only 10 months and so more interested in the paper and bows and lights. Wait until next year.

Christmas day every body gone to their wives people so for the first time in our lives it was just me and Mama.

Went to visit my Mother in the home. Don't know for sure if she knew what day it was. Did know me. Did not know who wife was. Seriously doubt she will remember we were there.

Oh well, life goes on.

had a good Christmas. my wife got me Sirius satellite radio and the girls got me a few computer games and a book. my inlaws picked me up one heck of a Dremel tool set. i got my wife a fox and coyote pelt to hang on the wall care of one of the campfires trappers and a book shes been looking to get. my sister got her a hand held back massager and absolutly made her x-mas. the girls got quite a haul between us, their aunts, grandparents, and their father. it was a good day with the main meal at my inlaws where they were quite pleased with the mincemeat pie that we made, which is a hell of a compliment since its the first time it wasnt my mother-in-laws batch. i got to catch up with my lil sister whos been away from home for the longest time ever. all in all it was a good day.

We had a very nice QUIET christmas at home.
For us it was different, last year on Christmas day my wife's brother died suddenly. We live about 4000 km's from our families and it was a hard day for my wife, but overall good.

Boggy all in all my x-mas turned out slightly better than fair. It would have been halarious if I were not so afeared of the out come. My Dad woke up, tried to speak a few words ripped off his hospital gown and attempted to escape buck naked. It will be great if he is around next x-mas to give him a bad time about his year....but. Made my day. All he wants is to go home and a can of Copenhagen.

Great. All the Kids and Grandkids spent the day here. The best of it was my Mother and older Sister(she lives in Montana and we dont get to see each other all that often) spent the day with us. All the Grandkids and the men folk went down to my range and shot targets or road the horses/mules until dinner was ready. Lawdog

Spent Chrismas day at the MIL's with my wifes family.A good time was had by all. MIL is an awesome cook and that that lady spares no expense to throw on a good feed, home made pies and Christmas pudding,a free range turkey that just melts in your mouth. Now my mouth is watering and I got to go rustle up some left overs.

It the first Christmas my wife and I had together since getting married this last year. We went to visit the in-laws as she is not ready to head to the cold country in the winter yet.
