Elk camp from two weeks ago (bow opener):

Our spot is only about 2 miles from the trucks, so we were sleeping in luxury that trip.

I'd be embarrassed to post mine. Just let your imagination run wild.

I wouldn't post a picture of the last couple years elk camp.

But this year will be a nice camp!

Nothing but a couple heaps of equipment that needs to be shaken loose and sorted out.
Got the propane/cooking and lighting worked out and bugs fixed.

Set up a new/used GPM tent, few minor repairs and that is good to go.

Now to tackle the passive HVAC systems.

Short one section of 5" and a 2' X 2' section of 1/8" hardware cloth for another spark arrestor.

The list are getting shorter, the heap is getting tidy-er.
But my leg started to shake about a month ago, the fever is hitting hard this year!

(pictured: M-1950 Yukon stove for the shower tent. 3-Dogs stove for the kitchen end of the GPM and some kind of stove off Craigslist I had for my knife-shop, for the sleeper end. )

Your leg started shaking?

My wife caught me rubbing my head on the coat rack today!

Great looking camps guys. I love the line someone said above that this thread isnt helping the fever....ahhh, but it is. grin

From what I understand leg-shaking is one of the symptoms?

Along with 'bugleing in your head' and certain unrestlessness , combined with compulsions to sight in and repetitive training sessions with chosen weapons.

Followed with sudden urges to practice bugleing while driving and cow-chirping while waiting in check-out lines.

While subtle side effects will demonstrate tendencies to purchase thick wool-blend socks and long-johns. Don't let these symptoms to go untreated!

If you believe you might have similarities to any of these symptoms, it might already be to late. Seek help!

There are help groups, but you guys ain't it!

One-man bivy tent for a spike camp.
Pretty tight fit but it got me back in where I wanted to go.
It helped me kill a decent sized bull on public ground that year.

I've got a whole bunch more that I'll try to upload this weekend, but here's one I always get a laugh out of. WAY back in the day.

Berettaman,

I've got the fever bad. The Wife yelled at me the other night because I discovered one of our kitchen cabinets would make a squeal like a young bull if you opened it just right. And I spent a bunch of time trying to perfect it.
