I sold my old tumbler and corn media when I bought a thumbler water water type. Better for BPCR.
Now I miss the old tumbler and corn media cause it is quicker for doing a dozen brass for hunting rounds.
Can I use fine steel wool on the outside of the case and a bronze brush in a battery drill for the case mouth? Then resize?

I use a lee universal chuck and stud from their zip trim only in a drill. Works super fast for quick cleanup with a little flitz on a hvy duty paper towel and bore brush inside the case mouth...not to mention super fast trimming using their case specific trimmers.

I just rinse mine in the sink and let em dry. I will tumble if there are a bunch. Not for looks, but function in my semi autos.

4/0 steel wool while they are spinning in the Lee chuck polishes them right up. All I do for inside the neck is a pass with a nylon brush.

Ditto this but I use 4/0 steel wool.

Not much beats the old NRA formula for brass cleaning. One quart white vinegar, 2 tablespoons of salt, immerse the brass stirring occasionally for about 20-30 minutes, then rinse VERY thoroughly in running water. It's not as polished as corn cob media in a tumber but it's clean. You can save the vinegar and reuse, but save it in plastic.

I have tried the Iosso cleaner kit in the bucket. That stuff works great, and is safe to use. No dust to deal with. Very fast too!

+1 on Reloader7RM. I shoot a lot of 6 x 47 Lapua in 1000 yard Benchrest (both light and heavy gun) and all you need to do is spin the case in some kind of a case lathe or a case holder in a drill; polish the neck with steel wool and a quick pass inside with a nylon brush. Other than the primer pockets, I think all else is probably overkill.

Anybody try/use the Fast Orange or similar type wipes that are made for removing oil based stuff - like some lubes are? That stuff works well; don't know what, if anything, it does to the integrity of brass however.
