Dogs tend to have amazingly quick reflexes. A human being with reflexes as fast as the average dog (performance breed dog, anyway) would be considered superhuman. PS Did you know that the English have only been calling German Shepherds Alsatians since WWII? The word German became very unpopular in England after that, and the breed was dying out there till the breed club there changed the name.
