While digging to the back of the safe the other night to pull a rifle out that I made a deal with another Fire member on, I came to the conclusion that there were a number of others that might well find new owners/homes. Many are had to have rifles that in the end have been shot only to sight them in after mounting scopes (where applicable), and then set to rest in the safe. Some of these guns are multiples of others I own; some are rifles Ive never shot since adding them to the safe; and some are stalled project guns.

So, and with the above in mind, I am offering the following guns for sale:

#1 Remington 541-T (not Hvy Bbl version), non-embellished receiver, bolt action, clip fed repeater, 22LR with Leupold VariX-II 3-9x40 A/O, gloss, duplex scope. Clean gun in very good condition. Scope shows some light dings and possibly a ring mark or two. This scope was purchased used, sent to Leupold for a check-up and returned with a clean bill of health. $650 Shipped

#2 Remington 504, bolt action, clip fed repeater, 22LR with Leupold VariX-III 3.5-10x40 A/O, gloss, duplex scope. Again, a clean gun in very good condition. Scope shows some light dings and possibly a ring mark or two. This scope was purchased used, sent to Leupold for a check-up and returned with a clean bill of health. $600 Shipped

#3 - Remington 552, Semi-auto, 22LR with Weaver 4x Rimfire scope. BDL version with satin finished wood. $325

#4 Winchester M70 (NH) Safari Express 375 H&H Magnum (CRF) with Leupold VX-III 1.5-6x32mm, matte, duplex scope in Leupold QR mounts. Wood/blue. Bought this gun from a local gentleman that took it to Africa 5 times for plains game and DG. Gun is in very good condition and shows little use or wear. I thought about keeping this and turning it into a 300 Wby Mag, but dont need another project, nor do I need 2, M70 375 H&Hs. $1200 shipped.

#5 Remington 700 SPS SS with hinged floor plate. Again a .280 Rem. This one is a stalled project. Not sure what possessed me to want a 4th .280 Rem. Started life as a brand new 30-06. Original barrel was removed and a new, take-off .280 Rem, SS fluted barrel installed. Barrel head spaces correctly but the chambering/caliber markings are not visible. This one should really be put in the hands of a gunsmith and have the flutes timed. Sits in a composite stock with pillars that I believe is a B&C with the MaxxGaurd (DuraTouch-like) finish. Not sure if this is the Gen II Ti stock, or possibly a stock from a Sendero. $650 shipped.

Got a couple others that I don't have pictures of yet (camera battery when 'toes up', but I'll mention them anyways.

#6 Remington 700, .280 Rem barreled action. Originally a BDL, 1-9 twist, with sights removed and screw holes plugged. This ones been in the safe, untouched for the better part of 15 years. All metal surfaces have been Teflon coated matte black. Kwik-Klip bottom metal with extra clip. $500. May consider selling this one with a McM stock that was bedded to another BDL and painted with DuraCoat by Fire member Kend. If sold with the McM, buyer must understand that the Kwik-Klip magazine system may require additional inletting. McM not available separately. With McM, $750 shipped.

#7 Remington 700 BDL, 9.3x62mm. This is a project gun, and 1 of 3, 9.3x62mm rifles in the safe. Started out as a 30-06 and was rebored by JES Reboring in Oregon. 1-12 twist. NECG banded front sight, factory rear sight (not installed). The original 30-06 barrel marking was milled out and the 9.3x62mm caliber designation engraved in the mill cut.. Gun needs to be put back together and reblued or coated. The target I received from JES after the re-bore showed 3, Privi Partisan 286gr soft point rounds in a group less than 1. These are the only rounds out of this rifle as a 9.3x62mm. Sits in a BDL stock that has had a Pachmayr Decelerator added, retaining the factory LOP; the high gloss finished knocked down; and the checkering re-cut. $600 shipped.

#8 Interarms/Whitworth American Field Express barreled action in 7mm Rem Mag. Complete w/bottom metal, trigger, factory sights and barrel band sling swivel mount. Bought with the intention of being a donor for 375 Ruger project. $375 shipped.

In the interest of purging and scaling back a bit, Im not interested in any trades. Open to reasonable offers. Payment via USPS M/O. First public response with the 3 magic words Ill take it, and followed by a PM restating same gets it, pending receipt of funds and FFL transfer info. All prices include shipping and insuranceto your FFL holder. FFL holder must accept from an individual. If I have to use an FFL on my end to affect the transfer add $25 to the cost.

I'd be interested in the 541 if the deal falls through.

For those that have asked about the 9.3 . .

As it sits the 9.3x62 has the trigger removed, the firing pin and shroud removed, and the floorplate removed from the trigger guard. The barrel is screwed into the action and head-spaced correctly. It basically sits as need to send off to someone to either re-blue it or coat it. The reason for rebluing or coating is that there is about 2-3" of bare metal exposed at the muzzle end where the NECG banded front sight was sweated on and the excess solder cleaned off and bead blasted. The sight is in the white. Half an hours work would put it back into a shooter.

Barrel profile and length is unaltered from that of a standard M700 BDL. Barrel length is 21 1/4" from the front of the recol lug; muzzle dia is .645".

BDL stock is a factory wood stock that has had the high gloss finished knocked dow and the checkering re-pointed.

As mentioned in the ad, $500 for barrel action w/o stock; $750 w/McM.
