What eh76 said. We got one for a present aout three years ago, and I laughed at it. Now if it breaks, we will get another from Amazon.com. Ground pepper with one hand.

I thought it was a joke too until I tried it. We have 3 pepper mills and you can guess which gets used the most.

If you're close to a Costco or SAMs club, they have a pepper grinder, full of pepper, and it works like a charm. It in with the spices and there's a salt grinder as well. It's a great value.

make sure that the grinding mechanism is made by Wm Bounds Ltd. They make the best grinders (salt and pepper).
