24hr forum page just became smaller than Sniperhide & LRH. It's like reading index cards.
Why not give members the ability to stretch the page, or close advertisings?

After sleeping on it, I would like to revisit my earlier comment and change it to I hate it.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

Rick, the only change I would ask is to move that link to the right end, past FAQ. I'm so used to clicking on the first link on the left to go to Forum List I keep hitting the Portal Page by mistake. Not a huge problem, I can retrain myself to click the second link from the left if need be. Shouldn't take more than a year or so...

As others have noted - a lot of complaining about something that is FREE. I presume the advertisements being complained about fund some portion of the overhead for this site.
My suggestion is that a subscription option be offerred - maybe $25/month and there's no advertising sidebar for the paying users. This could be a reasonable, logical and fair business practice.
The complainers could put their money where their mouth is...of course I'd expect there to be few, if any, takers...
