Just bought a 2.5-8x Leupold EER for a 17 Fireball XP-100 i use for predator hunting, and had an M1 elevation turret installed on it. Turn around was maybe 10 days or so, and i swear it is so cool. Took this rig out last week and sighted it in and it was doing ~3/4 MOA all the way out to 425 yds. on a nice calm day. 225 zero needed 7.5 MOA to get to 425 [25 V-Max @ ~2900]--

Thks. Man it really is--super-low recoil still gets me to 400 or so on the calm days [300ish for coyotes].

I actually prefer the 2.5-8 Nikon just due to cost. Nikon gets me a BDC reticle, and low profile tgt. turret all for ~300. The Leupold as set up above is ~600. But it does have 100 MOA of turret adjustment to it. Nikon's about 40.

That scope would NEVER be enough zoom for hunters using a buttstock wink

Good shooting indeed.
