I'm new at this, so it feels weird saying stuff like this...

I've never uttered the words "I've lost ____ lbs" because quite frankly, I've never cared and never tried to lose ____ lbs.

But, As I stated earlier, I want to be a little lighter and more active in the woods this fall. I want to put some miles on my boots, climb trees etc during deer season like I did in my 30's.

(I want to keep up with the boys) grin

3-1/2 weeks into this, 6 lbs.

That doesn't sound like much of an accomplishment to me, but again, I'm new at this.

Ive got the whole month of Oct to hopefully keep it going in the right direction.

1-2 lbs a week is normal, healthy, genuine weight loss. You're right on schedule.

Now, in other news. This post had me ROR'ing.... laugh

thumbing through my 5th grade roll-a-Dex of comebacks, I found this gem...

"That's what SHE said!"

.... and yes, I do have a roll-a-Dex... grin

Keep it up. The best thing I ever did was get back into the shape I was in 20 years ago in the Corps. I feel about a zillion times better, I don't hurt the morning after a hockey game, and, most importantly, I can wear my dress blues again if I feel the need to dress up for the wife.

Remember, nothing tastes as good as a healthy body mass index feels. Especially out in the woods climbing a tree or dragging a deer.
