I have been playing with a Spot Hogg Bulletproof sight for a while now. I LOVE IT. Simple, light, and tough.

I bought a Seven Deadly Pins for 1/2 price on clearance at my local Scheels. Spot Hogg had offered to switch the micro pins to the larger pins for me for next to nothing. I had them install 4 pins in the color and location configuration I wanted. They also threw in the remaining pins for future use. With the wrap and the larger pins, this is easily the best sight I have ever used. I got a freakin bargain. I highly recommend you get the wrap kit and ask to have the pins switched, you will have a dramatically different opinion. I was really impressed with thier customer service.

dinkshooter you still haven't said what you don't like about it. You must have liked it to begin with because you bought the thing.

Fiber optics kept breaking off. Sitting there in the field with a lighter and new fiber optics stuffing them in. I do not like the small pins. I only bought it because of a momentary man crush on CH. Joke.

A lot of it was there are just to many pins for a Spaz like me to deal with at the moment of truth............

I've got a pic of it somewhere, might be on work comp, Ill look tomorrow.

Ah the truth comes out Man crush on CH. LOL.... He is a beast.

I don't think most bow hunters need 7 pins. I am good with 3.

Let me know what you want for it, I have a buddy that maybe intrested. I will talk to him tomorrow.

I thought the micro pins looked awesome in the store. Even better during daylight hours outside. Then about dark I noticed they lost light very quickly. This is probably true of all micro pins. I also didn't need 7 pins. Four was plenty. I think I paid $99 for this sight and it retailed for more than double. So when they offered to trade me pins and cut the number down to four and give me the remaining pins all for about $20 I ended up doing real good. I would think twice before selling it. It would be different if you could get your money back at the store. Then you could simply get one with four pins and a wrap kit.

"Spot Hogg is a POS" What?

This is the problem with the internet. Someone can spout off that ONE OF THE BEST ALL AROUND SIGHTS EVER MADE is a POS- thats just wrong.

I have 2 SH sights- one about 10 yrs old. I stripped out a couple of screws from adjusting it to 3 different bows and multiple arrow combinations- probably hundreds of times and SH sent me new screws no questions. They also retro fitted my older sight to different pins and the wrap- at a very good price.

They make a great quality product, have excellent customer service, put out some incredibly good info on accurate shooting on their website. And I guess I'm just a bit more careful with my bow but in 10 yrs of busting brush hog hunting and a couple out of state hunts every year I have only broke one fiber optic [Damn you Spot Hogg Guys! sarcasm intended]

I can understand a guy saying, "I screwed up and ordered the wrong size pins"....but the POS comment is just wrong!

For 4 sights I can have a new bow? A new freezer or led tv, a fridge? A bit hard to swallow.

It is not wrong, but fact. I have literally replaced fiber optics on it daily while hunting. When I called the company for more fiber optics the guy sounded like I was full of crap and was leery of sending me them. However, that little vile of extra pins was a lifesaver as I was always sitting there replacing pins.

It has been one of the main reasons Ive been hesitating to sell the POS. Im not the kind of person to know Im screwing someone else over on a sale and go through with it.

I guess I am just way to hardcore than anyone else using those POS sights. I bought a Tru Glow this year, one shot, one dead critter. Not the same results with the Seven Deadly but Invisible Pins.

$91 is retail for the Bulletproof and can be had for $76 on-line. You can spend more but you don't need anymore then the bulletproof.

I've had a Spot Hogg on my bow for the past 10 seasons. Love the new pins and wrap.
