I recieved a call this afternoon from my gun dealer to let me know that he recieved his first Marlin Guide Gun in Stainless Steel. I had mentioned getting one in for me several months back and here it is. Planning to go to the show in the morning to either buy it or let it go. Anyone have any first hand experience with these rifles(stainless that is)? Would appreciate your input. Best, Matt.

A guide gun in stainless steel, I guess I'll have to add that to my list of guns that I MUST have.<BR>Does anyone know where I can get a piece of paper ten feet long !

I don't know about one piece of paper 10' long, but you can get it in a roll at some drafting supply house. We occasionaly use "E" size roll at work, which are 3' wide and use borders up to 12' for full scale drawings.

About how much more does the stainless cost than the original blued? I have to have one.No I don't , I NEED one.<BR>Dodge

Dodge, <BR> The dealer had the stinless guide gun priced at $499, which is a $100 more than he sells the blued version for. Best, Matt.

matt, $500 for the stainless? Where is your dealer, will he ship, can he get more? I NEED one, and best price I will see here will be wallmart, if they get it, and the blued version is $470 there. I have a buddy with an FFL for shipping...<P>John
