Pretty much sums it up... The whole forum was all over it 9 months ago and we haven't heard anything for a while.

Or should I just start looking for a stainless 700LA and call McMillan for my next gun?

They are slowly making their way.

There was one advertised on these classifieds about a month ago, but they are pretty scarce.

http://www.forbesriflellc.com/FAQs.aspx

This will answer some of the more popular questions, though I don't know that I'd have a great deal of confidence in the time frames listed.

The Scheels in Rapid City had one don't know if its still there or gone. But if they had one the whole chain has/had them. Why did you wait till now to jump all over them? Most guys I know from Montana move pretty damn quick, you from somewhere else? a transplant or something? No offense intended of course, did a woman have you distracted er what? Magnum Man

Something like that... The rifle hobby has taken a back seat to recurves, and um..

Getting laid.

I just thought it was funny that the Forbes gun pretty much fell off the scene while I was "busy"

M Gunns I was in the Rapid City store tonite and as Cinch said it is still there, its a 270 but the gun manager said its no problem for him to get one in 30-06. Call Jerry Gion at (605)342-9021 it was priced 1399.99 and they wouldn't come down a dime but they are new and hot...Initially I thought it barrel heavy but mostly that the butt is very light. With a 6x36 Leupold and some alloy rings and bases it sure would be a lwt hoser of the 1 st order. .

Magnum...

I've got the 'Curves covered. One Silvertip here with two sets of limbs, and another one on its way (I needed a reason to buy 400 bucks worth of exotic hardwood)

Only got about 2 1/2 doz left my self. Got a 70# Bear Kodiak( newer version of the old Super Kodiak with laminated riser) that's guaranteed to strain yer milk and then some. Also have a bi-radial risered Herters with a bad limb( riser is solid Rosewood I believe and a Ben Pearson biradial risered Cobra model with a bad limb make great knife handles er whatever. My younger brother collects curves and still has between 350 and 400 so if you looking for a specific bow let me know. Magnum Man

That's what I'd do.
