Life has dealt me a tough hand right now. It is with great regret that I must unload some of my "very special" items that I had put away. These are just things and can be replaced someday...I hope. More to follow....

This custom build was a joint effort between Redneck, CAS, and kend.
I commissioned Redneck on all gunsmith work. Charlie Santonie did the Ceracote job and kend Duracoated the splatter finish on the stock. This rifle turned out fantastic and is an absolute thing of beauty on the fit and finish. These gentlemen did an outstanding job and it pains me to sell this.
All metal including rings/bases were Ceracoted Graphite Black (Matte Black) by CAS.

Specs as follows:
Remington 700 Action- lugs lapped, boltface squared, SS trigger smoothed and adjusted to a crisp 2.75lbs, SS hexhead bolts, SS ADL box and follower, Wart removed and replaced with Greytan firing pin/assembly
Pacnor SS Supermatch Barrel-5 groove, threads cut square to action, chambered in 30/06, 1" shank, barrel finishes to .6" @ 23"
Remington 1st Generation Titanium stock- Professionally Glass bedded, Splatter Duracoated Olive/Matte Black
SS ADL Triggerguard
Talley Lightweight Rings/Bases

A total of 1 round has been fired through this rifle since it was built. That round was fired by Redneck(Lee) as a test round. I have over $1400 invested in this build. Balances perfectly and points like a dream.

Actually, being a 30-06 is part of the appeal to me.

As I get older, I keep trying to trim all of the excess, and get back to basics. A 30-06 is as basic as I can get, yet it will do everything.

The rest of this build is like the OP was reading my mind....
