I came across this tonight and took a couple of pictures. Is something like this very scarce? I've never really looked out for them until I got interested in Savage.

I might try to buy it, just depends on where it goes at auction. I've never sought them out so I don't know if it's an item a guy sees at the shows often or not. If it's few and far between then it would be a nice display item to grab.

If anyone is seriously interested in this oil can, send me a pm and I'll send you a link to the auction it's in via proxibid. Auction starts later today and runs at least a week. I put some ammo boxes in the auction, helped with a few pictures and identifying some things for the owners. That's how I came to find the can. The can isn't something I'm interested in at this time. Other than some loose .250 Savage rounds, I'm not sure that there is anything else Savage related. I don't want to break any rules here by posting the link on the open forum. If it is OK to post, let me know and I'll post it tonight when I'm back in front of a computer. Otherwise I'll happily reply to any PMs tonight and after.
