OP DeerTracker Campfire Regular Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 2,235 Ronan, MT	Abby finally went and bought a whitetail doe tag yesterday evening so I took her out this morning. We drove out to a place I got permission on and sat on the edge of an alfalfa field that has been drawing 150 or do deer every morning and evening. They decided to cross back to some other property earlier than normal this morning but we still managed to sneak about 1/2 mile across the field and intercepted 6 does. Abby laid out with her bipod down while I was tryin to get my video camera set up. She got a little excited and shot before I could get ready but she made a 250 yard shot on this doe that went about 75 yards and piled up! It was a slight quartering to shot so she took out the bottom of the lungs, the liver and then it exited right behind the rib cage on the far side. Abby is deadly with her Marlin XS7Y 7mm-08. She is shooting some hand loads with 140gr Accubonds! Proverbs 12:27 The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.
