Offer them with 6.5mm bores. Also, build a lightweight 98 version.

I never heard what caused them to have so much trouble with the .260. I know of three that were sent back and re-barreled, now one is a .308, the other 7/08 and not a minutes trouble with the rifle now. I have a new .223 and so far it's accurate gun. Maybe one day I can find one in a .22-250 and make a 6.5Creedmoor.

Mine is the 84-M in 260 no problems,BUT--I wish they would checker the bolt knob and put a texture on the grip and forearm.

I'd ask the same thing I would ask of every factory rifle makers...
An 8 twist 22-250, 243, and 260.

A #2 or '2.5' barrel, QC issues handled, lastly, yes a 6.5 w/8 twist. I like the 260 and 47 and if the Creedmoor gained solid ground w/rifle and ammo, and proved it would stick around, that would be ok. Agree 8 twist on 223 but would add an 8t 22-250

I'd like to see them offer a wider variety of cartridges like Cooper does.
Bring back the rimfire line and remake the specialty pistol version.

Here is the .338Fed that made me think about posting this thread. Bought it, shot a couple Deer with it and then more or less put it away. Decided to put one of the Leupold 3x20s on it and bring it out again and use it if the weather sucks. I know most don't think of a Montana as a woods rifle, but in a .338Fed there are few others that can equal it for being quick and easy handling for just about anything one would encounter that is relatively close. Forgot just how well it fits for most of what goes on in the East.

Kimber, please provide the following: 1) a left-handed Montucky 2) in stainless/synthetic 3) in 223AI After receiving same, I will snatch the stock off and send it to Boxer for the application of a custom paint job and a Jolly Roger. I ain't schittin'... I really would.

An 8 twist 22-250 would make me happy. I'm also going to get myself flamed, but a 6.8spc montana would find a home in my safe without a blink on my part.

the only thing i'd change is to open up the radius of the trigger where my finger goes.

A 20" barreled version with a full stock would be nice.

Agreed! Excellent rifle for the East.......6.5 Creedmoor and I'd be "in".
The 280 Remington is overbore.
The 7 Rem Mag is over bore.

7 Rem Mag in the Montana config.
How about a special run each year, like Remington do with the Limited Edition's, for these other calibre requests.

I would love to see the 260 come back as well, particurarly in a montana. I would also encourage them to trim down the 8400 magnum versions similiar to the 84L...and make a dang 7mm rem mag. Picture an 8400L Montana in 7mm rem mag...mountain rifle magic.
