I've used four different cartridges to kill all my deer. 7STW, .308 Win, 30-06 and 6.8 SPC. The .308 Win Remington Mountain Rifle accounted for most of them.

22 long rifle and 50 bmg. You're an overachiever, I like it though!

Largest diameter was the .45/70. Most fpe was the 338 RUM. Smallest diameter and fpe was the 6mm Rem, my first deer.

243 Win & 300 WSM but I really liked the way a 25-06 with 120 Hornady hollow points zapped them.

6mmBR, 70 TNT (one w/243) and 105 AMAX
338/06 200gr BTs
OP, what distance/shot placement w/221? Rifle/pistol?
The Crosman surprised me....and the 380 (nice shot), as well as the 105mm, two extremes (4.5mm vs 105mm).

22 Magnum and a 12 gauge slug assuming big means bore size.
Conduct is the best proof of character.

22 long rifle and 50 bmg. You're an overachiever, I like it though! 22 was what they call around here a bang flop. The 50 bmg ran like heck, almost 200 yards and never left a drop of blood. Was easier to track the path of the bullet through the brush after it went through the deer, than it was to trail the deer to where she fell. Nice cleaning though, no blood shot meat
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
