Found a scope i want and the shop wont separate it from the rifle..700 xcr (not xcr ii) in 7mm rem, l.h., basically mint..nothing to reference it by on gunbroker...realistic resale value to make it go away if i purchase the outfit ??? I know remington discontinued the xcr's in the l.h. action awhile back and am thinking they dont offer a lefty in the xcr 11, but am not certain there..

Sir, they are about the same as a used right handed model. So if you find one of those you'll be in about the right price range.

Maybe add $50 for it being a lefty.

I have to agree: There are fewer left handed rifles for sale but we are also a much smaller market. Lefties are not more valuable simply because fewer are made. Do not expect to sell the rifle for more than a right handed model.

I looked for several months for a used LH rifle for my Dad, the ones priced the same as righties weren't moving unless someone was looking for "that" rifle/caliber combo.

Most lefties that were selling were under-priced compared to the same rifle in a right handed model. Realistically, IMO, expect to lose a few dollars on a quick sale, or to sit on it for a while if you want full value. Just my experience...

Yep, that is true. Factory prices them the same, but they can often be picked up at a discount after they sit on someone's shelf too long........

Those XCR rigs are darn nice. Make someone a great hunting outfit.
