Last spring I asked about light loads for my soon to be 91 year old dad. We first used 60 gr. 777, but moved up to 80 gr. 777. That extended his range and was the max recoil he wanted. He took his first muzzleloader doe last week. I am pretty darn proud of him to say the least! Tom W.

Did the same with my 9 year old son. One pyrodex pellet and he was good to 70 yards.

did the same for my 30-something year old self. 80 g. of T7 and a 250 g .45 XTP gives me great accuracy and hammers deer inside of 120 yds. Interestingly, 2F swiss powder gives me the exact same point of impact as T7.
