I am shooting 86grs of H-1000 with a 210 VLD bullet and no pressure signs. Its 3" high at 100yds and 5.75" high at 200yds and need help with a muzzel velocity to get an idea on long range bullet drop?

You have a great combo 300Wby and H1000 with the 210gr BergerVLD......your approach is the problem.
Shoot this combo through a real chronograph and it will give you better advice than any spode on this site will tell you with information given.

The best way is to use a chronograph but...
1. Go to huntingnut.com and download their free ballistics software.
2. Sight your rifle in to hit dead on at 100 yards and then see what the drop is from 100 to 200 yards. You could use different ranges but 100 yards and 200 yards seem to be the most convenient.
3. Use the ballistic software with the ballistic coefficient of the bullet and bullet drop to estimate the muzzle velocity. This is not the best way to get a velocity but will give you a rough idea of it.
