Can someone provide me with some good pet loads and good powder choices for these? I have an old Rem 788 I would like to try them in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you sure the Rem 788 is twisted correctly for the 105g VLDs? They need a 1:8 twist to stabilize them, so I bet the 788 is not twisted that quickly.

I am not sure. I will check it but you are probably right. I thought about that after I posted this. I emailed Berger and they sent me a plethora of info and it also recommends an 8 twist. I had them lying around but I guess I will go a different route. Thanks for the response.

whats the length difference between a 105 VLD and a 105 Amax? just wondering because my 1:9.25 does very well with the 105 Speers and the Amaxs.
