Ron, awesome job buddy.

I wish I could have made it out with you like we planned, but too much going right now. Hopefully next year.

How did TJ fair?

Joel, we killed 2 cows total seen alot of elk, i shot at a bull the first day of season at 563yards with wind blowing seemed like 93mph. clean miss. Tj had a 6x6 at 490 yards, pulled trigger and click. we had 4 guns give us trouble during the week due to wind blowing [bleep] into actions, my bolt wouldnt close 1 time had to take bolt out and clean dirt that had built up with pocket knife just to get my bolt closed. I think everyone but 1 guy had a shot (course he only hunted about 1/2 day , it is truly some rugged country out where we was at but we survived next year i think we will be flying out to get rid of that 30hr drive which sucked Ron

Well at least you got to go and didn't leave empty handed. Congrats, tell TJ the same for me please.

Talk to you later, maybe tomorrow.

I will make it out there next year....

Congrats,... and your are correct they are huge. My first Elk was last yr and my first thought were "Gosh, that thing is a beast".

That one should eat very good.

Congrats!!

I've shot a lot of elk over the years and it seems like my 1st reaction to every one is "holy crap! that thing is big. How do I get that back to camp?"
