I'll be picking up a new Vanguard in 240 Weatherby in the next couple of weeks and I've wondering if anyone has any experience with the 6mm 90grAB that they'd care to share.

I saw a post maybe in the big game rifle reloading section where the poster was running them out of a 6mm-06. SHould be pretty close to the same platform. Anyway, the accuracy he was getting was stellar. I don't remember if he has had a chance to shoot anything with them yet, though.
Good luck with yours.

Mr Fox,
I'd bet that would be a giant killer out of that Weatherby...
I can run them pretty strong out of a 24 inch barrel chambered in 6mm Rem and a Rem LA...
bet bouncing up to that Weatherby case or an 06 case.. you can just do nothing but get better...
I'm guessing a knowing hand at the reload bench, 3500 fps would be a piece of cake out of a 26 inch barrel, which I am sure that Weatherby is sporting...

I just loaded 50 rounds for my 240 Wby but used the Nosler 95 gr Partition and Ramshot Magnum. Never tried the Accubonds yet

I'm hoping like heck to run them through a buck in the next few days if lady lucky allows. They shoot quite well in my 6-06.

Looking forward to a report on how well they work.

This is a shooting forum, there is no place here for logic.
