Read the comments, I really feel sorry for those city folks. To go through life so dumb must be tough.

And another dire prediction "We will never be allowed to hunt wolves in Minnesota" takes a dive.
5 states have a new big game trophy animal.

Give it some time. Did you look at the comments under the article? MN is run by the fruit and nuts brigade in the metro area. I predict that there will be a # of lawsuits challenging the hunt before next fall. Funniest part about all of those comments is that so many of them come from "conservative, firearms owners" that think hunting wolves is a terrible thing.

I dont think they really were "conservative, gun owners" as they described. the guy says he love to track waterfowl. Huh? Track waterfowl? he is an imposter posing as a hunter. Track waterfowl...
We are starting to see some wolves in Central Minnesota. Never in my life have I heard of a wolf around here. While some may be coyotes, I know enough of some of those reporting a sighting that some of them are correct.

5 states have a new big game trophy animal. Agree. Although it seems I'm agreeing with you too much lately...

I predict that there will be a # of lawsuits challenging the hunt before next fall. There are two now, that I'm aware of. But the DNR says until they get to court, and a decision is made...one way or the other, the hunt will go on. Right now we are between 1500 and 2500 ABOVE the recovery number goal. 400 aint gonna do anything, altho I'd be surprised if we hit 1/2 that this fall/winter.
I should have just bought a [bleep] T3...

Wisconsin is at 50, 32 were trapped.
5 were taken in Adams county, which is lower central Wisconsin. I had no idea Wolves where in Adams county.
I use to own property in Adams, Crazy how these packs really do expand.

The MN body count is at 66 as of this AM.
13 days are left in the early season to get to the 200 quota and then there's the late season and trapping season, also with a 200 quota.
It'll be interesting to see if the 400 mark is reached.

Actually Wisconsin is at 61 right now, more than halfway to quota.

Wolves seem to figure out fairly quickly when they are not wanted. I would also be curious how many wolves are also taken during the season on general predation tags.
