I'm totally ashamed of our country's decision tonight.It's being slowly strangled by illegals,gays,freeloaders,educators,unions and a subculture of low IQ's.The GOP should seriously consider dumbing themselves down next go around as it's the only way to relate to an overall illiterate electorate. No... they need to pass out Mitt Phones next go around, sir.

Electoral college or not, we knew that with 95 % of blacks and 60 to 70 % of latinos voting for BHO, plus significant fraud organized by ACORN and other Democrat specialist organizations, it would be a tough battle.
In that context we could not afford to make mistakes, particularly vis-a-vis the women voters.
As it happened despite some obvious mistakes on the social front and a candidate somewhat too nice, we came close to winning!...
But the fact remains: REASON LOST and the next 4 years are going to be very costly! Very, very costly!!! Not just fiscaly: all that made America great is being undermined.
Unless conservatives succeed in fixing their act and focus on the truly important and fairly universal points, America may (will) never recover from it.
Is it too ambitious or too naive to look for an honest politician? Or simply a useful one?

Romney is only up over Zero slightly now, but he's been ahead in popular votes all night. I said the same thing to my wife. The MSM and Dems both pitched a fit when Dubya got in this way. Nothing said tonight. Ohio still has 10% of the precincts to go and Zero is only up by about 10,000 votes. Looks like Virginia and Florida are going to go to Zero by about 50,000 apiece but the tallies ain't done yet. Really, it all comes down to those three places and around 100,000 votes. Two election officials arrested in Ohio. Wow. 100k by cheating is doable. Thanks to all the mol independent voters who manned up and voted for Romney. My parents are lifelong Dems and both voted for Romney.

You mean except tonight, right? the one common thread of the people who make these silly claims is that they have zero experience in real world elections with candidates who actually win elections. the electorate is not libertarian...ask Gary Johnson. or Ron Paul. Just got an interesting email. It's 11:30pm locally and I got an email concerning a coal plant I'm consulting on in the project management end in MS. Looks like it's full blown put the brakes on and do the math to see if it's going to come out now halfway thru the project. We'll see where this ends up.

You can moan and complain all you like.
Conservative politics in the USA has become polarised over the last four years and moved slightly off target to the political right. This is clearly on the nose with voters.
The voters who gave a damn and got off their arses and voted made their choice. Those that didn't vote couldn't care less. Having Romney as an opponent was not a good choice and he clearly had no idea what the majority of americans wanted.
Hence, the democratic process rolled on to its inevitable conclusion.

This must be the mississippi power coal plant north of Meridian. They've spent a lot of money on it, including buying a right of way across some of my land for the power lines. Thankfully I've already been paid.
