I need a heater for a hunting blind, what to buy???

Propane?
keroseen?
White gas?

I bought one of the Mr Heater 4-9k btu models that run on propane for the duck blind and popup archery blind. with open tops it may just be a handwarmer, use will tell. Magnum Man

I have the big Mr Heater that fits on a 20lbs tank and it will cook you out of my popup blind. So I just light and warm then shut it off it get cool relight. Clint

I have used the Big Buddy propane heater for about 5 years. It has the option of two small bottles that will last about 4 hours on high or the adapter hose for a 20 lb propane bottle- with that I have never run out of propane during a season yet. It also has a built in fan that runs on batteries but I personally have never used that feature.

It has worked well in northern Mn. The only caution I would have is there is a glow. I usually hunt right up to the last minute I legally can. I just position the heater so it is not reflecting or backlighting. Not really a problem just something to pay attention to.
