Just an observation here.
Notice on other sites someone posts a wolf kill pic and then the hunter goes suspiciously quiet surrounding the details of the hunt. I suspect the anti hunters are having an influence on this, anyone else agree?
We've got guys hunting them in MN this year and I wish them success but do wonder if posting a pic and story will lead to some hate mail/threats, etc.
Anyone else concur?

I know that the guy who killed the very first "legal" Wolf here in ID a few years ago suffered some pretty hatefull vitreall directed at his Real Estate buisness, but when interviewed by our local newspaper he said the free publicity did more good than the hatefull BS did harm LOL.
Course, ID's allot more conservative than MN, so it wouldn't suprise me if the pressure/intimidation didn't take a toll in certain areas.
JMO
FWIW,,, an old trapper friend stopped by with two Wolves he'd caught the same day last year. Nothing I could say would convince him to even let me take a pic of em, let alone e-mail/post em.
Pretty impressive seeing em laying in the back of his truck though.

It's tough to say whether hate mail would have an impact on that.
The good news is that the MN wolf harvest is at 116 as of this morning. Not too shabby.
Quota for the early season is 200. Quota for the late season and trapping season is also 200. They just might make it.

Anyone else concur? We had a member here that was threatened pretty extensively. His wife's work address was posted on the internet with links to his posts. I think he was a Judge down by Lincoln. Travis
