Just got my new 260 Rem from Roger @ Roger's Rifle Shop in SLC. I loaded up 100 rounds over 9 different loads. H4831SC looks to be the best. I used 123SMKs, BR-2 primers, Remington brass. Rifle specs are - HS Police/Tactical Stock Remington 700 blueprinted action Tactical bolt knob Sako Style extractor 26" Rock Barrel w/1 in 8" twist Muzzle Break - Roger's design Leupold MK4 6.5-20 Scope 142SMKs will be loaded next.

Great rig, albeit a bit heavier than my .260...grin. But, it'll surely be a ton load of fun to work with!
And congrats on having a heavy rig and actually shooting 5 rounds not 3 rounds just to show bug hole groups! Cracks me up like long arm pics do when people have a toad of a rig and shoot 3 rounds for groups...grin
There's a great sticky thread on .260's down below in the loading section if you wanna check in their.

Nice gun, big fan of the 260 as well. Your 50 gr load looks excellent, not that the lower charges are bad though.

Off topic but what exactly does blueprinting an action consist of? Just a fancy term for accurizing?

Gerrygoat - The 50grn load looks to be the best. I've also tried H4350 with some success, see below. Dubya - blueprinting basically makes all the parts of the action meet each other "straight". Most rifles have sloppy tolerances which leads to accuracy issues. H4350 loads below -

FWIW, my custom 260, Stiller action, 22" 4 contour Lilja in a Micky Edge shoots identical groups to yours using the 46.5gr load of AR2209 (H4350) behind a 120grBT.

Those H4350 loads look great too, another good powder for the 260.
