SAUM-yes I've used 7828 and the .270, mainly with 140 Horns and that I can recall I've not once used magnum primers in it. Thinking I've mainly used BR2's.

I don't remember the charge, but I am using 7828ssc with 140 gr Accubonds in my 270 win hunting load. I own 5 270's, and it shoots and kills great in all of them.

You can get excessive pressure with 7828! Ok... Why do you think that? I don't "think that", rather, I have actually done it. Ok, well let's hear about it then.

The bolt in my Vanguard gets hard to lift if I increase the powder charge over what I,m using.
