Looking to load some 120BTs for a browning BAR in 7-08 Any General all around powder recommendations for the 7mm-08?

Depends a little on your barrel length. But if it's 26 inches you very well may want to try H414 or W760.

I shoot Varget under 140's in my 7-08 and can't imagine it wouldn't shoot equally well with 120's.

Reloader 15 or Ramshot Big Game. The 120 NBT with Reloader 15 at around 3000 fps has shot exceptionally in the 7-08s I've tried it in.

I asked the same question a couple of months ago, here is the link to the thread 7mm/08, 120 NBTs I got fantastic accuracy with everything but MR2000. Ended up using Big Game FWIW. I hope your workup goes as easy as mine did...

Work up to 44 grains of RL-15, that's my favorite way to fly.

I was running Varget when I had a 7-08 and 120's
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

45 grains of varget gets me 3050 with 120 bt.

Don't know squat about BAR's but CFE 223 will easily fetch 3200fps with 120's in a 22" bolt gun......
