Arborwear is good stuff. I work in Tech pants everyday. Have never worn it out hunting.

I am well aware of the history of Sitka and the sale of the company. As well as with Jason creating Kuiu.

I have found the stitching on the Kuiu garments to be better. Also Sitka is Gore-Tex, Kuiu is not. So to say because Jason was/is part of the companies they are the same is not accurate. I have owned several pre and post Jason garments from Sitka and they just have not held up. I gave up on Sitka a while ago now. If you like it thats cool. But I don't like anything that cost that much and can't make it thru a hunting season.

Believe me I can find faults in Kuiu garments as well. Mainly the sizing sucks. XXL is a normal XL. XL is not even close to what a XL should be. I can't comment on sizes below XL because XL won't even fit me. A XXL garment should not be a almost tight fitting. The systems were made to use a layering and their sizing does not give adaquate room to do so. At 6'4" and 265lb their sizing sucks! I really hope they will fix that, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I almost shed a tear when I noticed that I've walked the crotch fabric out of mine leaving only the seams. Hope the current version is as well stitched together.
