I think I have one Roy, will check for you

Oh the 99F will be acceptable as a trade, I would expect you to cover all shipping and export costs on the rifle. I am also accepting offers on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, bank checks are ok

Dangit! I had tried Numrich before but couldn't locate it. Buckslayer why can't I find it in their search function??? I'll go back and keep looking.

Here it is- but $25? Wow! Not bashful are they?

John,
Please advise on suitable bridge substitutes, i.e. rail cars, flatbed trailers, etc and shipping cost to US. *Prefer titanium construction. Yes, life story, understood. How is it a guy ends up missing a lever bushing screw without the same life story?! grin grin

I guess $25 isn't bad, that's about 35 cents of the Queens money huh? And if I don't buy the screw, I'll be needing that bushing soon Johno!

Hey sooner, thanks for the link. The lever bushing screw is only $2.50! Looks like a minimum order would be about $15, but I'll add a couple other items to the order to make it worthwhile. Thank you so much for the help all.

I made a lever bushing screw. It is a common size/TPI (I forget what size/TPI)

IIRC , I modified a round head or pan head , chucked it in an electric drill & filed the head to the size/shape that was needed. I think that I also had to recut the screwdriver slot with a Dremel tool. Polished it , then a touch of cold blue...

OK , The screw is free , however it is attached to a rifle that will cost you $932 + shipping.

The screw size is 10-32 , however that was in a post-mil rifle.

I just tried a 10-32 in a pre WWII rifle & it won't quite work , the threads are 32 but the screw size is almost-but-not-quite a 10. In this case the hole in the bushing could be chased out with a 10-32 tap.

Mike,
Thank you for your work on my behalf. I appreciate it. I swapped a couple around myself, all post WW2, and they interchanged. Hadn't tried any older.
