I'm wondering if the new book has current data for the .300 and 7mm SAUMs, or if it's the same loads they put in #5 and #6. Your help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I just did a quick cross-check between #6 and #7. They expanded the 300 SAUM data to 10 powders per bullet weight (4 per in #6). The 7mm, however, they actually reduced to three powders per bullet and the ones still listed appear to be copies from #6. It appears AA3100 powder was removed from the 7mm SAUM listings.

Do they have any updated info for RL-17?

My apologies guys, I was comparing #5 and #7. The comparison of the 7mm SAUM still holds true. However, #6 and #7 both have 10 powders listed per bullet weight for the 300 SAUM but it looks as though they revisited the powder selections albeit limited.

FishinHank, with regards to R17, it's been added to the 175/180 class of bullets for the 300 SAUM but no other bullet weight for said cartridge.

I've only started to digest the new volume and see where the changes/additions have been made.

I was hoping for some RL-17, 168 bullets. Thanks for the info.

Thus far, I've been a little bummed with the lack of RL-17 data for various cartridges.

I just ordered the #7 and the new Hornady manuals from Midway. Should be here Friday.

I noticed it was available from MidwayUSA, Midsouth shooters supply, and Natchez when I went looking for it.

AA3100 is listed in the new guide as being a "discontinued" powder. Ref. pg. 71
